In MTW, I use -ian quite often to get a very high camera angle for evaluating replays of multiplayer team battles.

Oh man.... I was hoping and waiting for someone to discover that command for the camera angles.... Now to know I will never be able too...

I was hoping to be able to change factions during the campaign. So I'd be able to set up experiments more easily.

since the camera "hugs" the terrain, this inabily to look too far up has caused me problems (for example, I can't see the top of a short hill when I'm sitting at the base). i, too, was hoping for a wider zoom to alleviate this prob.
