    Default Battle results false

I fought a battle yesterday, and i brought in (rounded) 1300 troops. At the end of the battle it said that the enemy killed 400, and yet i only had 600 remaining! I sure don't think i killed that many in friendly fire?

Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

I suspect this may be because it is only showing and listing the men remaining from the units "on screen" and does not include any reinforcements or routers you have "off screen" as in MTW and STW. Unfortunately, I do not have RTW yet, so I am simply guessing......

I've had autoresolve where I've killed more enemies than actually existed. Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, I've had this happen to me. Not sure what's doing it though. I also killed more enemy than was on the field. My guess it's a bug

My best guess is that friendly fire kills are also counted.

So.. Say you're facing 100 enemies with your 100 men.

Your men kill 100 enemies, and 20 of your own due to friendly fire..
The enemy is weak blind and stupid, so he kills none of your men.

Voila, you now have 120 kills, and 20 deaths.

There may be bugs here, but . . .

The troops remaining only counts troops still on the map and/or still in good orders (unclear which one). If they routed off, they won't be counted (though you generally get them back),

Friendly fire is very common (too common IMHO, as if a well-trained legionaire could not aim a pilum 6 inches above the his archer's head instead of right at it), and creates some wierd end-battle stats.

I think that not counting routers makes sense (as the cause of the problem), but should be fixed. Maybe they could add a 'routed' section for each army?

End of battle reports are not accurate because friendly kills are added to your total. Take a look at the enemy kills and then your own, you will then see how many of your own troops you killed.
