But the worst are the greeks and the like. They sound like the frenchman from monty python's Holy Grail "I blow my nose at you".

Oh, I SO want to see a Monty Python and the Holy Grail mod. If they use this engine to make MTW2 (and I hope they do) then whoever does a good Python mod will have my undying gratitude and respect. Especially with all of the voices on the strategic map, it would be a blast to hear the Pythons:

Eric Idle (as Arthur's horse) would have to be campaign advisor: "Message for you, Sir!"

Sir Bedevere would be the tactical advisor, of course. ("If we build a giant wooden badger...")

When plague strikes a city, the mandatory "Bring out your dead! (gong)"

And fighting the Knights Who Say Ni would be freaking hilarious! Can you imaging marching on your enemy as they were twittering "Ni" at you?

Just thinking about the possibilities is great fun.

The credits say "CA Oz." Which makes the certain-areas-of-the-US accents a bit strange.

That's not a "crack". That same voice actor does that in other words with "r" in them. He is obviously an american voice actor who doesn't realise that English people don't sound "r"s (i.e "ahhhhs" instead of "ours")

I live in America, and people's voices don't crack like that when they normally say the word.

God I wish they had done everything in Latin, then I wouldn't be able to tell how awful it was, because I don't speak that language.
"Sit now there, and look out upon the lands where evil and despair shall come to those whom thou lovest. Thou hast dared to mock me, and to question the power of Melkor, master of the fates of Arda. Therefore with my eyes thou shalt see, and with my ears thou shalt hear; and never shall thou move from this place until all is fulfilled unto its bitter end". -Tolkien

Actually, to completely split hairs, I think his problem is that he is mimicking a yell without actually yelling. If he really yelled then his voice would come more from his diaphragm, but instead it ends up squeaky coming from his throat. It's the same thing that happens when people try to sing a really big passage in a rock song without actually putting some volume behind it. It ends up sounding like they're squeezing their vocals through a balloon.

I have no idea why I'm arguing this point, but what the heck, I'm at work and it's a Friday.
