    Default Help the routers out

Hey just thought of something for routers not to the extent of MTW. Maybe routers should have a speed bonus since they are running for there lives. Heres my idea an exhausted unit should run as fast as a very tired unit, a very tired unit should run as fast as tired unit and so on.

It would greatly help the A.I as I'm usually the one chasing the routers down
When a fox kills your chickens, do you kill the pigs for seeing what happened? No you go out and hunt the fox.

This is a great idea. Right now, the speed is set for all unit types.

But I doubt it will help the AI, I always have Cavalry at hand...

I would rather wish Cavalry would move a bit slower.

I agree. Units fleeing should have a speed bonus, reflecting that they run for their lives, and that they have probably let some of their equipement fall during the rout.
If violence didn't solve your problem... well, you just haven't been violent enough.

On the other hand, the cavalry AI routine for running down routers is brain dead. They just run alongside routers, stop for no reason, circle around, take zigzag routes, etc., etc. If you fix both, it's probably going to go back to square one, though I really feel that CA should fix both problems.

I noticed your cav always tries to hit the routers from behind and then run straight through them hitting as many of them as possible. Once they're through they circle around to get behind the unit again and repeat. That way they take absolutely no losses as they're not running into any swords or spears. Kind of makes sence but does seem ridiculous sometimes.
