i was "granted" permision to start a new thread on tactics and war stories.my only hope is that this will increase my understanding(and i'm sure others as well) of some of the finer points of military direction.i am aking other taisho for stories of their tactics and how they worked on the field of battle.also i was hoping that even though junior patrons aren't allowed to post here that they will still read about this discusion and possibly take their game to a higher level of enjoyment.i only ask (even though i know where i am ....)that the stories reflect in shogun total war(kinda personal,i only own STW and other units not in STW would confuse me).

i have some questions but unfortunately time does not permit me to elaborate on my questions so i will just ask one broad question to kinda get this started.

I have difficulty attacking bridges.would almost say i hate them.LOL .it seems that unless i have massing numbers and some calvary to storm across to make room for a YS unit to hold the bridge i almost always suffer the loss of more brave samurai then my opponent. even if the battle is going my way.
