    Default Brigand Patrol

Would it make sense to build a small army of mounted troops to chase brigands and rebels?

I've been sending out diplomats to bribe them to leave me alone, but that ain't satisfying my bloodlust. I'd like to have a fast REALLY fast army that could slaughter those rebels like the scum they are.

    Any ideas?

Oh yes, it definitely is a good idea. My gothic cavalry units are having a grand old time with brigands in the germanic forests.

If you don't have heavy cav or mounted archers it might be a bit more difficult to pull off an all-cav army; it depends on what losses you find acceptable and how good you are at pulling of feints and countercharges. Of course, you could always try picking up some mercenaries to supplement your specific faction's weakness.

Try an army of generals you don't need to use anywhere else. It works a treat.
