no search option?
I'd like to try some searching thru forums prior to actually dumping any garbagesh question in the forum, but i can't find it.
actually i found it on the 'quick links' tab or something like that but it tells me I don't have permission. do i require a permission to search the forum?

Welcome to the forums. The Search function can put a lot of stress on the server, so the host wants us to limit the usage. It was completely unavailable a few months ago as it crashed the forums, we're slowly unlocking it now. You'll be able to use it soon.

It seems like the option appears as soon as you gain "senior patron" status. I actually asked the same question about a week ago as my first post.
You take a chance getting up in the morning, crossing the street, or sticking your face in the fan.
