    Lightbulb Camera tilt

I have seen quite a few people complaining about lack of MTW style camera tilt in RTW. I thought, maybe I should throw my 2 cents in this... The camera tilt actually is still there but you have to unlock the feature on two levels. First, unlock it in the camera options before starting a campaign (by default, the camera comes as "fixed"). Second, unlock it on the battle map by pressing SHIFT+INSERT. Voila, "-"/"+" keys now work tilting the camera up and down.

    If this works, THANK YOU!

Once enabled anyway to use the mouse rather than the -/+ keys?

Haven't checked it with the mouse: I am kind of used to the "+"/"-" keys.

I think, there is a key: press F1 on the battle menu and explore the key-shortcuts there. I remember one of the keys being "right in the action" but I cannot remember which one was it.

I'm confused. I have been left clicking on the screen to get the camera to tilt and it works great. I didn't think I configured anything special in the options either.

    Left-Clicking?

Exactly how are you doing this?
In MTW and STW, you simply "right-clicked", held and moved the mouse.
Are you saying you do this with the left button?
If so, it don't work for me!

Anyway, Slaists, you have my gratitude, it works. In fact, its in the Key Options.
I never looked *closely* at that Option screen. Even w. MTW/STW I mostly used the Mouse, using the key board primarily for Grouping.

Just looked at the Manual, there isn't even a section re Camera Controls. This lack of documentation is exasperating.

Oh look! I just noticed on the back, Ctrl+T toggles the Settlement Labels. Hallalouya!!! Last night this also was starting to irritate me.

    Anyway, thanks again!

You can focus the camera on just about anything by double left-clicking.

However, this is not an elegent solution to the problem previously stated, and there appears to be no option to do the right-click-and-hold as in STW/MTW.

I will have to try this +/- solution.

    "Right-in-the-Action"? All Right!!!
