This may be the stupidest newbie question in history, but how do I do a search in these forums? The FAQ search produced instructions which referred to a search button, which I for the life of me can't find.

There is a searh function, but it has been disabled for guests and junior patrons. The number of search requests brought the forum down on several occassions, so it had to be limited. Just ask your question and I, or another member, will be happy to look it up for you.

Thanks. My question was how to switch retinue members from one general to another; I was pretty sure there was a thread about that somewhere on these forums. But never mind that, I figured it out (make sure the generals are in the same stack, then just drag the retainer from the original guy to the recipient's unit card, and there you have it).

you can do the same with agents (i.e., switch their retinue characters around).
Therapy helps, but screaming obscenities is cheaper.
All my spies ever seem to get is the monkey. Whenever that happens, I get an urge to watch Raiders of the Lost Ark again...

you're right, I've also only got the monkey so far for spies, but that's not too bad. After all, I can toss it to new spies - which you _have_ to train since now agents die of old age as well...and a starting bonus of +2 (or whatever your monkey has) to skill is not to be neglected...
