    Default Three Siege Problems

The already documented phalanxs shift to the right problem. If you try to plug holes in your wall with a phalanx it will slowly shift to the right making the hole open again for the enemy to parade through. Brilliant!
This is such a crappy bug.

Secondly, units in the battlements. When I have archers on the battlements they don't seem to understand how to fire out over them properly. They always think bugger that and try to go downstairs and out the front door. I think a battlement mentality should be programmed in so that they understand that fighting on battlements i just a different kettle of fish.

Also - How about, for a super huge extra cost, the chance to builkd extras around your castle and dictate where they would be on the battlemap. Extras such as moats (or ditches) so only one attack point possible, shaped your walls so that attacks are more surrounded by walls - Think Troy, and so on.

Sieges are bloody awesome though. I want to be able to catapult heads and animals.
Am not fully informed but the graphics look nice but to be honest all previous incarnations were rubbish even though I don't know that for sure

I've had more experience with the phalanx units now since I'm playing Macedon. From my observations the shift right thing is becoming a problem only when they do some sort of pseudo attack. It's when you've ordered a unit to attack but their spears aren't really touching the enemy. Then they do that sliding thing. If the spears reach the enemy they seem to stay in place pretty well. Question is why aren't they engaging? I'll have to experiment more.
