    Default Yippee FIFA 2005

Has anyone else gotten this for xbox yet? Love the game but online seems somewhat jumpy to me. I am 0-1-1 online with the loss being a wonderful own goal. Blinking Bayern Munich and their stupid defense. I still haven't been able to get the hang of the "first-touch" control yet, my forwards keep kicking it out of play.

I'm a Pro Evolution/Winning Eleven convert after FIFA 2003. I got very frustrated not being able to control my players when the ball was in the air in the EA series -- that and the magically disappearing/reappearing Practice mode. How's 2005 for those two features?

They have added an off the ball feature that allows you to control a couple of players and move them into position to recieve a throughball. It is kind of a nice feature, you can use the right stick to move the off ball player to the position that you need him to be in for a cross or whatever you need.

I am not sure what the practice bug was in 2003, it seems to be OK now though.

Well if its anything like FIFA 2004 then I won't even waste my money on it. FIFA 2003 was brilliant but 2004 was a waste of a cd as far as i am concerned. Hopefully its not.....please say its not.

Thanks pyhhric, I'll have to check it out. I wonder if the demo (they usually have one) bears any resemblance to the real thing? Will have to read up.
