Giving a loan?

I know you can indirictly make a loan by giving single payment and demanding tribute but I'm thinking this will hurt your diplomatic standings as tributes are looked poorly upon.

What I was wanting to do was give the Julii about 10k and demanding tribute of 1k for 10 turns wich turns out to be an interest free loan for them.

First of all would they accept it and second of all would doing this make the game engine look poorly at me?

It's possible but I'd wait a few years but not to many.
