If you use alot of assassins, you get "the murderer" tacked on.
Both my main main generals in my julii campain (where I use basically 100% infantry) have 'infantry commander of genius' or 'superb infantry commander' or something.
Both *used* to be called "The infantryman" but then one guy won another victory (he has 5 crossed swords victories piled up in one tiny region of gaul now :P) and his last name is now.. gaeticulus or something like that.
Anyone know what that means?
All I know is that it appears to be a cognomen, a nickname (or personal name), like Ceasar.
It basically means he made the Gauls his [female dogs]. Scipio the Younger was later named Scipio Africanus by the Senate after he beat the snot out of Carthage (I think it was Carthage, but maybe Numidia).Originally Posted by Ulstan

All of my best generals have ended up with "the mighty". One faction leader went through two other titles before being finally called "the mighty"
Best title I've seen so far was "the mean". That just made me giggle.![]()
