In compliance with the orders of the senate a Roman Army under command of Decius Victor liberated Jerusalem from the despotic rule of the Eygptian Pharoah and after the token ensalvement of a small portion of the population settled down to prove to these heathens what Roman can do for them.
Namely, sewage systems, aquaducts, law and order, wine and peace.
Unfortunately, the Judean's seemed completely unappreciative of their efforts and the Popular Peoples Front of Judea led by their prophet Brian rose in revolt ejecting Decius and the Roman garrison.
Enraged by their ingratitude and bolstered by additional units of Arab mercenaries and a mercenary unit of war Elephants Decius returned sapping under the walls and trapping the leader of the PPFJ and his bodyguard in the town square. Decius then sent in his war elephants and watch as the leader of the rebels was trampled into a soggy mess on the flagstones.
The entire population of Jerusalem were then put to the sword and peace has been restored.
