Plus Scotlandhmm, maybe the expansion would take us back a bit in time: to the hey-day of greek states (i.e., the period covered in the HTW mod) and the very beginnings of the roman state. or, alternatively, to the colapse of the western roman empire. there would not be too many factions to play though: all the known world was Rome then... :)
