Loading screen loads too fast to read quotes

I cannot read the nice quotes between loading screens because that screen disappears in .2 seconds and another loading screen comes up which is all black, in which the loading bar fills up!

I want to read the quotes and increase my knowledge!

go into your Data/Text file and find the txt file: "quotes.txt"

Weird that your loading takes place on a black screen, though! I wonder why that happens. Do you get any abnormalities elsewhere in RTW at all?

That starting happening to me for a while. No idea why. I downloaded the latest drivers for my graphics card and that seemed to fix it though.

Maybe a reinstall would solve any sort of corruption that may have occurred, other than that update drivers as already stated!

I use to get the black loading screen, now it sometimes drops back to the windowes desktop whilst loading or sometimes a the last frame of the last battle or once, the frame from a campaign turn a few years ago

I an not running the latest video drivers but as everything else works I am loathe to "fix" 'em.

You need to post your Specs, so you can compare your experience to others with similar systems. This way you can, possibly, determine whether its a problem with the Game or your System.

If I were you, I'd probably scrap my current PC and take out a loan to get one of those $6,000 AlienWare machines. I read somewhere that they are optimized for extreme loading-screen viewing.
