which country/empire do you hate?

I'm becoming increasingly fed up with Thrace in my current game. They hold byzantium and the areas to the north of it, which is a nasty eysore between my nice green territories in Greece and Asia Minor. They also seem to keep beating me to the territories to the north of the Black Sea as well, foiling my plan to encircle them. I have the trrops to crush them, but the senate wont let me off the leash. I was just gearing up to destroy them anyway, when the Egyptians jumped me, so have to put up with their presence a while longer while I relocate my troops.

I hate Egypt. They always dominate and start churning out hordes of ships. Luckily the AI doesn't keep up constant blockades.

I hate Egypt. They churn out troops after troops, and some units are a bit overpowered!!!

Macedon can be irritating with their cavalry as well

If you have the troops to conquer thrace do it. If you sit around waiting for senatorial approval for your conquests you'll be waiting a long time. You don't lose points with the senate for independent conquests it gets you in good with the plebs.

Egypt, cept when playing them then parthia.

Carthaginians. Sure, it's easy to be smug when you're on top of a war elephant, but come down from there and fight mano-a-mano and we'll see who's who. Bastards...

Yeah, and the girly Greeks with their long pointy sticks stink too.
