I played a custom battle and desided to play the germans. picked the screaming woman group. prior to the battle i took a close look at all the units and was quit suprised by the screaming woman. someone took a little extra time with this group! Love the padded armor OHH "my mistake sorry thats not armor"!

I've always found them a rather poor unit. Not at all fearsome, like the axemen and with no spears...

It's even better shooting them up when you run into a lone unit of screechers. When you down 50 of em in one shot the screeches are so funny or horrid depending on your character.

When you kill a bunch of men you just hear a bunch of low tone grunts, but killing the screechers let's out a high pitched squeal of death

I've found the screaming women to be quite useful against poorly disciplined and poorly led troops, i.e. against other barbarian factions. But I do enjoy charging into them with cavalry and watching them wail and scream as they are brutally cut down
