I hope I am not stealing Os's thunder, or overstepping my bounds, but I know that Os received the following initial response:

"I have passed this on to the MD, and relevant programmers etc. We will give
the community a response to the petition but obviously this won't be
    overnight.

We need to go through the list to ascertain what is possible/impossible what
is probable/improbable etc. This will take a while and you have to be aware
that the game is not yet released in several countries.

However we are looking at this NOW and there will be an official response to
this but we want to look at it properly. So our initial response is a huge
thank you to every one involved.

    Thanks Bachs,

I am sure Os won't mind.

From their initial response, it seems to indicate that they will not brush this issue(s) under the carpet, well they can't really.

No except the regular price of Rome has already been reduced to $40 usd by Best Buy. This isn't a special sale. I don't recall ever seeing a price cut this fast on a game.

well .. it has been almost two weeks and to be quite honest all we have had is a standard acceptance from the front gates. I think this needs to be followed up because we do not even know who has seen this except the admin at .com let alone what is going to be done about it. Os have you heard anything further? What did they say when you delivered it?

    Sale already ..
    1. pre patch = crap game not worth playing AND normal price
    2. post patch = probably slightly better AND cheaper

I thought i was quite smart but looking at the above who the hell is going to pick the first catergory?? yes your right ALL OF US!
