Do'nt know about short campaigns but if you hit ctrl s (quicksave) and then exit to the menu and then load the game you should no longer get those popups.

I appreciate the help guys, I simply saved before clicking "return to main menu" and when I loaded it, I was good to go!
I'm not sure if this works for Senate missions, I've already taken them out!

That's the spirit - the senate gets too damm annoying when you get too much power....I'm not sure if this works for Senate missions, I've already taken them out!
