Default wiki for use for Rome Total War

I have a wiki for people to add Rome Total War content.
    1. Just add a username with password
    2. Then you can edit pages that are unprotected.
    3. Once you click on the edit button- for example on the front page.
You just type [[examplemywebpage]] this will create a webpage link to your webpage about Rome Total War off of the front page.
    4. Then you just right click the new link on the front page to go to your webpage. [right click open in another window or left click, whatever]
    5. Once at your webpage you just edit it. Add content whatever you want. Then you can protect it if you want to.
    6. For adding pictures to conserve bandwidth, storage space, please link to pictures that are stored somewhere else. you just type www.mypicture.com./rome.jpg [the link for the picture without any {[]} and the picture will show up on your new webpage.

Any user content about Rome Total War is good.

Hi, jjnip! We're working on something similar -- or wait, are you the person who was talking about hosting it? Either way, this is the thread about a wiki, which you might want to take a look at.

Welcome to the Org, by the way. The natives are friendly and the beaches are clean.

    1. Hi,
    2. I am not the person who was talking about hosting it.
    3. I already have a wiki up.
    4. I saw your thread several days ago, it seemed it may go up or might not.
    5. I already having mine up, was just to bothered to post to busy playing the game.
    6. I figured what the heck so I posted it.
    7. I think there is potentially enough people in the community to have several wikis up and linked together, etc.
    8. I know we have some capability we would not look to take the community full force, it would be too much.
    9. So I say the more the welcome and we can just link each other like a big wiki Rome Total War community.
    10. Other than that my wiki is up and people can start creating webpages.

Taken from the front page at http://www.nimbus.ninje.com.
    ------------------------------------
    User Added Pages

Creat a Account. Log in. Hit the edit button across from User Added pages. do a * space double bracket [[name of your webpage here]] double bracket.

for example, look below in the edit section on the front main page.

it looks like * [[JustTypeYourNameHere]] but on the front main page it looks below.

    * JustTypeYourNameHere

Ok so, again from the beginning. Creat a Account. Log in.

Since the front mainpage is unprotected. Just click edit for the User Added Pages section. Just type your name inside of the double brackets of your webpage, TomsRTWpage for example.

    * TomsRTWpage

and that is it. Save your changes. Refresh the main page.
The link to your personal webpage is created now on the main page.
You just now go to it and add content, then protect it if you want to keep others from making additions, changes.

Edit your webpage, by adding text. links to pictures. Then save it. And now you have a webpage with a address and your content. You can edit it anytime, just log back in when you come back.

For capability we feel confident with our resources right now, I forsee a web of wikis for RTW, potentially.
It depends its really a opportunity for inidividual users, players, to create their own webpage of content regarding RTW.

Your personal log, journal, victories, strategies, linked all linked to everyone.

Oh, well, we've got one up now, and are going to be adding content in the next few days. No authorization required.

Hey, two wikis are better than one, no?

Indeed, two are better than one, it's not like it's hard to monitor both

Nice Deecie I hope you add more content. I am still 75% through my first long campaign I am sure once I finish I will be adding more content and reorganize the front. Feel free to add content as you desire.

I also added a link to Rome Wiki. Its under the Other Wiki Rome Total War Pages heading on the main page.

Actually its your webpage as much as mine and anyone who registers.
