    Default Extending the limited-campaign

Is there a way to extend the limited-campaigns? I started one with the Julii and I picked the short campaign just to see what it was, but now I wish I had selected a normal one because I can't capture any more provinces without getting the victory scroll which only allows you to return to the main menu. Is there any way to either keep playing or to disable the victory conditions so I can keep playing this campaign? I have a lot of history with this campaign now and I would hate to have to start a new one.

For me the victory scroll has two options, one is to go on playing, so that the campaign automatically becomes a long campaign, the second is return to main menu. I always begin a short and then go on.

    braccius,

you have to abandone rome, and then you should be able to continue on with your campagin.

    husar,

my options are the same as braccius. i don't have an option of continuing playing which makes me wonder, if different versions of the game were released in different countries, as braccius and i live in the u.s. and you live in germany.

I hate to have to abondone Rome, but if it works then I'll do it. Maybe Hussar is talking about after the main objective is completed. When I defeated the Gauls, I had the option of either quitting or continuing, but now when I capture any more provinces it doesn't give me the option. I can abondone a province and capture a new one, but it is like there is a limit to how many provinces I can occupy. I'll try abondoning Rome and see what happens. Thanks!

Well, if you don't care about getting a win for a long campaign you can just hit escape, then save when that screen comes up. Then you can load the game and keep playing, the screen won't be there anymore. That worked with the imperial campaign at least.

Do'nt know about short campaigns but if you hit ctrl s (quicksave) and then exit to the menu and then load the game you should no longer get those popups.
