Hideyoshi\'s widow

Sometime ago I read something (can't remmember where) that intrigued me. I read that when Kobayakawa Hideaki was trying to decide who to join (Ishida or Tokugawa), Hideyoshi's widow (I assume it's the mother of Hideyori, whose name I can't recall) advised him to join Tokugawa against Ishida.
What intrigues me is what was the reason for that advice.

I've also read that somewhere, but can't remember where either. Hideaki did have good reason to dislike Mitsunari prior to 1600 (resulting from the course of the 2nd Korean Campaign). Why O-ne (or Nene, who died in 1624), Hideyoshi's widow, may have urged him to act for Tokugawa is an interesting question (should there be any truth to it - distilling fact from legend in the 16th Century can be a bit tough). I'll try and see if I can find anything more on this.

thanks seal, this question had me curious too, i seem to remember reading abt this part in clavells novel shogun, i know its fiction but i believe that clavell based it on real life characters during that period
