Default Douglas DC-6, my latest work

I say work, its not work at all, nor is it work in the sense that you would call art a "work". But then again, I suppose you could class it as art.....

Anyway, here it is, a Douglas DC-6 in the markings of SAS

    DC-6B

Give my command to another, for I cannot, I will not, lead an army into battle against a civilized nation so long as the Gauls survive. I am not the young man I once was, but I swear before Jupiter Optimus Maximus that I shall see a world without Gauls before I take my final breath."

Wow! how long did that take from start to finish if I might ask? And what do you do with it now? Hang it from the ceiling?

Looks good. I'm sure it would make a fine addition to any model collection. Did you follow instructions or make it yourself?

Beautiful! I cringe to think how long something like that would last anywhere near my boys, they're airplane-crazy right now.

I started it in July, so about 3 months, but I've been working on another 2 or 3 kits at the same time

Its currently on the top shelf in the kitchen, but it will eventually find its way into my display cabinet in the loft
