    Lightbulb Inheriting lands

How does that work? If my princes/king marry a princess how do I get her daddy's lands? It never happened to me. Is it that all or some of the provinces turn to your allegiance if there is no heir? Or how does it work?

It only happens once in a blue moon (english phrase meaning almost never :-) ) I think the faction has to die out, and even then its only a small chance, and you might as well just bribe all the rebels anyway.

It happens when you marry a princess and then kill of her brothers and uncles. When the king dies you get their lands (provided no one else married a princess). I think going to war with them will invalidate your claim.

It happens very rarely, but if you have good assassins or inquisitors you might give it a try.

The marriage matters for several generations but is like English assasin said, it's very rare. Seen it atleast three times though.

And if the faction dying out goes into a civil war, then you'll see very buggy things happen. You'll get all the land, but the other faction don't die out for starters, then it gets wierder.
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?
