Thread: Trying to find the Speeches.

Default Trying to find the Speeches.

    Hi there (First post )

Just trying to find out if it is possible to firstly extract the speeches from the data folder ( and where they may be found, if at all) and then if it is possible to set them up as my Xp start-up sound. Would be funny to have a Roman shouting at me as I turn on my PC in the morning.

    Thats all for now.

Thanks in advance for any help

A speech is a composite of craploads of different phrases. If you extracted it all, you'd have dozens of individual phrases, not entire speeches.

ah ok. In fact though, that would be even cooler to have as a windows opening sound. Have you got any idea where i may extract them from and how?

    cheers again MoOk

I'd love to get into that file too. As I thought I heard em all and hit start battle right when I heard something about pink elephants or something and the guy was couped up in a city for 30 years. This way I could hear the ones I missed without waiting for another general to get couped up for 30 years just to hear that speech
When a fox kills your chickens, do you kill the pigs for seeing what happened? No you go out and hunt the fox.

You could try recording them with some program and then use the .wav or .mp3 for a startup. Run the gave at the same time, I mean.
