Thread: Rome Total War Patch

    Default Rome Total War Patch

Anyone know the timetable for the next patch?

It's a great game but i'd like to see some of the bugs fixed soon.

No one really knows to be sure. Its gonna be a big patch and the testing might take some time too. With how long the MTW 1.1 patch took I would say 4+ weeks before its ready...but just a guess

i'd almost rather see a series of smaller patches so we get the bugs taken care of a little at a time.

4 weeks from the last patch or 4 weeks from now?

Yeh but CA has so far only done one big patch for each Total War game. They did that for STW and for MTW and although they did make a quick 1.1 for RTW that was mainly to fix a big issue for MP.

It took 2 1/2 months for MTW 1.1 to come out. If we say it takes same time for RTW 1.2 then that would mean early December. Maybe my 4 week+ were a bit optimistic so lets say 6 weeks from now on +/- one week. I dont think that would be that far off.

Thanks. at least the bugs don't keep it from being fun. It seems to be a very mod friendly game as well so that is good.

Yes RTW does allow for a lot of modding. AFAIK we have lost of few things that was easier in MTW/VI but gained some in other places and even more than we lost overall.
