    Well, I've just finished reading IGN's review... It's a...

    9.9/10

    Link

WOW , that's the highest score I've ever seen. But I guess the game deserves all of it. I am a big fan of the series and used to spend tons of hour playing Vice City so I have been eagerly awaiting San Andreas. It's a PS2 only now and I am forced to wait till next year when PC ver is released...

After playing San andreas for most of the afternoon i have to say it is excellent. I've not even got out of the first city and I have to say it is HUGE, cant wait to get access to the other 2.

I would reccomend it to anybody who likes the previous GTA games.

It isn't planned at the moment to my knowledge but as with Vice City it will prob come to Xbox eventually although it'll prob be on PC before the Xbox.

The radio is great although i prefered the Vice City soundtrack. Havn't tried te two player bit (havn't found a place to do it) Let us know what the two player bit is like.

I love the bikes and they r my main mode of transport as you can get to most places on one (and they r great for speeding down the train lines - my main way of getting around Los Santos)

Still havn't opened the other cities but can't wait too.

Me and me brother found the two player thing near an arch way near the overhead motorway near your hideout.

With four gangmembers we were created maybe before the police rushed us in force.

I have also noted the how crazy the motorway is man, the cars will not stop and the piles up are fantastic

I've noticed that cars don't tend to stop on the motorway which means getting a car on one is quite fun, although if i want to get anywhere in Los Santos i usually drive down the train lines.

I have to say that i've grown quite used to just using motorbikes, they r definatly my favorite vehicle (although when i get helicopters they will prob be my fav).

Yesterday with the armour and health cheats(i know ) i managed to get to the mountain on the left of the map with the police in hot pursuit( we all know you can't reach certain areas unless ceratin missions are completed, and if you try the wanted level goes to four stars)

I got right to the top, got the parachute at the top and threw myself off, and for some reason the parachute would not open until the last moment when i when splat near the bottom

Havn't tried parachuting (didn't even know you could). At the moment i'm just takin over Los santos, i've managed to knock the balleras (sp) down to only 9 territories although i havn't started to take on the other gang yet.

What do you do in the two player sections? (forgot to ask last time)

I heard that it is possible to hijack airplanes and fly them into buildings...

    Might upset some people.

You could do that in Vice City, mabey not on the same scale, but you still could with the puddle jumper on there. So I don't think it will upset people to much.

I found a parachute by accident. Jumped off, opened, then hit triangle with a grin.

I miraculously survived my several hundred feet acceleration into the concrete.

I've stolen a jet and only had a jet hunt me down when i flew over las venturas when i wasn't supposed to (it gets you a automatic 4 star wanted rating if you go anywhere where you havn't opened up properley).

Planes are alrite, prob not as fun as helicopters (havn't tried them yet as when i found one it was locked )

I've got a couple of questions:

    1:Where is the pilot school?
2:Where do you get parachutes and where can you parachute from?

Dunno where i would find the parachute or the pilot school, but if your still in Los Santos, and near the airport, park any car next to the building near the fences and hop over your vehicle then over the building then jump over the fence.

And btw check any police stations bathroom it has a plastic "toy" that kills people with 2 hits

Hehe, i've heard about the "toy" before. Will have to check it out when i find a police station.

I've already started flying without going to the pilot school but I want to to get my pilots license as there are helicopters in the san fierro airport that i wont to fly but can't as when i get up to them their locked.

Oh and i've found a parachute at the top of Mt Chilliad.

Depends what mood i'm in. Although i've heard on another forum that if you jump out of a plane into water you don't get hurt. Havn't tried it myself but will test it later on after work.

edit:have tried it and it's possible to not kill yourself by parachuting into water.

I tried jumping off a plane without a parachute at a low altitude, i miraculously didn't die

i landed in las venturas, well not really landed but crash landed while i bailed, i already had a 4 star threat in the air, so the police swarmed me when i was in Las Venturas becuase i think i'm not supposed to be here until its "unlocked" of sorts... anyways it was fun while it lasted

I have to say that the radio is a little dissapionting this time round. Would of loved more than one talk radio station as I quite enjoyed the ones off Vice City (also doesn't help that WCTR isn't as good as the ones of vice city)
