Solypsist-sama: Not that the Japanese Navy saw much action between those two events. They were spectacularly successful in the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905), and were initially able to beat up the British / ANZAC Pacific navies pretty badly, but their 17th, 18th and 19th centuries are all a blank slate...
