Senate Offices
Can anyone tell me exactly what advantages holding one of the senate offices confers? I understand that it usually results in an improvement of the characters influence, but is there anything else? I've quite a bit of searching, but I can't find anything definite.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

SOmetimes you get awkward senate missions with a penalty for failure of being investigated by one of the senate positions.. If it is your guy in that position you can pretty safely ignore the mission...
Characters get a stat boost in the position a portion of which stays after they lose the position...
