I believe 0.7 will be ready in just a few days. Unless testing finds things horribly wrong, after that it will just be a couple of weeks, I think. Sooner if things are perfect. But, keep in mind that internally such guesses are generally off, so I guess EB might be a nice Christmas present. We'll see.

We must really pretend that khelvan said nothing.

Wait... 0.7 is the Beta, yeah? So the Beta in a few days? Or a few weeks?

    So confused...

    Open or closed beta?!
Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

    Proud

    Been to:

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

What khelvan meant to say was that he hopes a final _internal_ build will be available in a few days. Then there'll be a period of final bug-hunting to find the most obvious issues (the last internal build, for example, had a CTD bug after a few years which has now been fixed). And then we're looking at the Open Beta. Note that khelvan said it 'might be a Christmas present'... you don't get your Christmas presents at the beginning of December, do you?

That's cool. Take as long as you need, but don't be holding off until december 24th just because it's cute

In these parts the majority of the few people who celebrate Christmas do it on Jan 6th.

Yep. I don't open them until Christ-Mass, but I do GET them rather early. And since I don't plan on ripping the beta to pieces anyway...

Well, actually yes I do! December 5th is our national-santa-claus-present-giving-day-you-americans-later-stole-and-moved-to-christmas, honestly! So can I have it earlier? ;)

So, what is the progress of the closed beta ? Are things doing well or have new problems appeared ?
