Has anyone fought the Germans? They disapear before I get to them

I think putting British Celts on Mainland Europe is the casue of the problem, but in two games playing Julii I have yet to get to them. Either the British Celts take them out or they do it with the Dacians...Has anyone ever seen the AI Germans survive or expand?...I bet this is a UK Activision thing...wanting the British to kick some German butt

The Germans usually survive in my campaigns up to the end.This could possibly be because i take out the Roman factions and ally with the Germans and Gauls.This leaves the Germans and Gauls to finish off the mainland Britons,the Gauls to take out Iberia and the Germans to conquer the northern rebel provinces making them quite strong.

i've had a couple campaigns in which germans actually kick the british off the mainland and then proceed to teach a lesson to dacians. they held all the provinces up to finland as well: i believe, a few of them scythian originally.

british wanting to kick german butt, lol... hehe, well, the brits that we know nowadays are mostly germanic by origin themselves (a nice mix of anglos, saxons, and later arrivals - the vikings) :)

Yes my Germans facing my Julii were quite strong, loved mowing down those Screeching Women---- I'm not really a misogynist, just applaud the humor of RTW.
