Isn't that a little crappy, since Rome stood at it's greatest power (at least in size) about 130-140 AD!!!
Is there some kind of hidden/locked campaign that let's you continue or start a new campaign or does the world end in 14 AD?

"Men and guns are fine but give me more tanks!"
As far as I know the "world ends" in 14AD :(
I don't wanna get off on a rant here but............That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
Command, come in. Have arrived in Venice, streets filled with water. Please advise.

I think you might want to know how to change that:
go to your \Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\Data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\ directory, open descr_strat.txt, search for end_date and change it.
Should work, I haven't tested it though (only made it shorter yet).
I've changed mine to end in 450 AD, just for fun and never expecting to reach it, but to be honest, I've never even gotten near the 14 AD mark. My campaigns are long over before then, even when I play with an isolationist policy.
I've never gotten near even 200 BC on my short campaigns - and by the end of them I'm just rolling over everyone. Playing into the later years is pointless now - in MTW there were new units and new eras to play into - not so much now. >:(

I guess that Messias dude made it impossible to be a Roman Emperer later than 14AD.....![]()
so what happens when time runs out and you haven't met all goals (ie already won the game) but are the leader of the pack?
