    Default Battle-field waypoints

Maybe someone can help me with a fairly simple question:

I'm a little unsure of how waypoints work on the battle map. I know to use the shift key while right-clicking, but I don't know how to identify the final destination if it's a location and not the enemy itself. If I don't keep the shift key down when I click the last point, it appears to erase all the waypoints I set before, so that's not right, but if I keep the shift key down, it doesn't seem to think that I've finished issuing the order and appears to be waiting for further waypoints.

Also, do I have to double-right-click while setting each waypoint if I want them to run?

Sorry if these seem like simple questions, but it never seems to work right whichever way I do it.

    Thanks.

The last "shift-click" will be your final destination, you can see after you've finished issuing orders by pressing the space bar, that will indicate where your troops will end up and which way they face.

You can make them run by "shift-double-click" and it should remember from and to which way point you want them to run (they don't have to run every section of the maneuver).

You can also use shift to draw out the formation as well, say for example the first way point you want your troops to march north but at the second way point you want them to turn and face south. Just use shift and right click to draw out precise formations and moves.

Sorry not the best at explaining things but i gave it my best shot, hope that helps!
