well just noticed this thread on CA forums.

Granville69, CA stuff :"I can assure you that a patch is underway but I cannot give you a time, let's just say it will be the near future.
I can't go into too much detail but I'm happy to say that the AI will be much improved in both the battles and campaign map, as well as many of the issues which have been spoken about on these forums".

If this is true and not the result of a prank then this is fantastic news. Let's hope that this 'much improved' AI makes our collective jaws drop to the floor.

The patch is being tested. I know an Activision Visioneer who has it now, or is getting it soon. He wouldn't comment much but would only confirm the patch is close.
