Hello everyone, i've played M:TW since it was released, and visited these forum for almost as long, never posted though. i live in sweden and is currently conscripted NCO/Telecommunications technician in the swedish army.
i am very excited about R:TW being released, but very very disappointed as i cannot play it, exept that quick and custom battles, it is rather frustrating really. i hope activision answers my mail, but it is seems that they are rather swamped by the amount, as a lot of people experience CTD:s and freezes.

Mod Note: Greetings Cheese Weaver, welcome to the Org some of our members have reported similar "hangs" ; EradoSan (tech guy at TotalWar.com) will likely have some solution for you; but their site is quite busy, and it might take a day or so for him to get to you. In the meantime, I suggest you cross-post that info into our Apothecary forum (if you haven't already). Our guys will have a look, too - and maybe a miracle answer -Kukri

I started out on STW, then moved on to MTW and now RTW. I loved all of them but RTW is frankly a work of art, and I play it obsessively.

I was browsing to find a solution to why R:TW crashes after 3 seconds in the imperial campaign, while the introduction campaign works fine. So far, I haven't found a solution, but I have found this forum.

hi, i'm gamestud33 and im new at Rome total war so i read the manual but it didn't help too much. i was like huh? .so anyways i started a new game and i started out good. i made friends allies. then the senate tells me to attack somone so i ride my calvary around and fight close combat i win i expand and then i........ well lets just say it gets bad i am geting realy mad i could hang me or i wanted do alot of stuff it was justs so alien to me . the advisors were annoing. i thought i could fix it with cheats i was worng well to make long story short if u could shed any plzzz do. O yah i live in colorado and i got R:TW at xmas. bye
