Don't worry my friend. Be a good neighbor converse and have a good time. The Backroom will be open to you sooner than you'll realise. Just be sure that when you go in there to look out for flying chairs, swinging fists, and some of the best people that you'll ever meet online.

@Prince Laridus Konivaich, welcome! Post as much as you can about game play and technical issues, help others whenever you can and be a good neighbour like Dave says. I know this sounds like your scouting camp leader, but it's what makes this .org run. There are enough flame houses out there where you can troll to your heart's content. This is a community, and we hope you'll get into the spirit, keep your act clean and wait till you're admitted to the Backroom where the gloves come off and... well, nuff said.
@NeonGod, welcome amateur historian. I'm the real thing (historian) but I never stop learning. We're developing a nice new thread in the Monastery forum with links to history resources on the Web. I hope you can read it. If you have any suggestions for good links, please PM me and I'll incorporate them.

i haven't played much of MTW (i don't own it, but a friend does) but i do have RTW and I love it!

But Im thinking in start to play it reading these forums.
Rome tw is consuming my gametime at the moment hehehe .
First got interest in Total War games when my nephew bought Shogun Total War, saw him playing and liked. Now bought myself Rome tw and Im enjoying it a lot.

i saaw MTW at my friends house but i didnt think much of it (I didnt see much) then i saw he had RTW and I thought it looked great so i went out and bought it!

Its great to have new members and I hope you guys are enjoying your stay!!! There are a lot of great folks here that can help you get the most out of your games, not only that, they are really friendly and love to discuss just about any topic suitable to the subject matter within each thread.

No custom avas, sorry. You will be able to choose from a larger pool of generic ones, though, as your rank goes up.

IMO, BansheeBarron should get a title like 10,000th member or member #10,000 for registering the 10,000th user name.
