Converting *tga to jpg useing irfanview

Okay, I've had irfanview for a while now to view my screenies, but I could never figure out how to change them to gifs or jpgs... If someone could post how, in semi lame man terms I would really love that, I am doing this because I want to make a screensaver out of the campains, and favortie battles useing "Myscreensaver" So if someone could help me thanks.

i just open them up and then save as... as a jpg.
are you using an older version?

this works the same way in paint shop pro too. use the 'save as...' and select the file type you want to save as and then simply save it.

the other way in psp is to use the 'batch convert' function. not really meant so much for single pics, but it does work. perhaps irfanview has something like this also.
