I just saw something on A&E(biography channel) about Gengis Kahn, and the Mongol invasion of China. Really interesting time period.

Yeah I have been watching this program every Sunday night here in Japan. Excellent program, wish I could understand more of the period Japanese. Last weeks episode of when the Hojo Clan see for the first time a map of the Mongol empire brought to them by a trader was a clasic. The next few esisodes leading up to the battles should be good and I hope the battle sceens are worth the wait.
