Siege weapons for diiferent war types

Hi.If I'm not wrong, someone has already posted about upgrading wall do you no benefit just because you have better wall, the enemy will have better siege tower, and all walls can be brought down with a single sap point.And what I wonder is do sap points breach an epic wall?I have tried in custom battle, I see that when assault a stone wall, you can have all four types of siege equipment.With a large stone wall(or higher),you cant have ladders.And with epic wall you cant have sap points.This is true for ladders in the campaign,right?When you attack a large or epic wall and you build ladders, they dont appear in the batle field.Is this also true for sap in campaign?I never see a city with epic wall yet so I cant try it myself.

Did you know, if you kill the six men pushing the ram or the seige tower wheels then thats them out of the battle

dont belive that is entirly correct. If you kill some of them who are puching the wheel there will always be someone from the rest of the group who will take over. This is valid for Rome atleast......

I could have sworn that I've used sap points on epic walls. I'm gonna go check on that.

Just incase anyone wants to know, it appears that you can't use sap points on epic walls in a custom battle, but you can in the campaign. Odd...

I usually use this tactic as it worked for me against the Romans at Thermon, I have never seen anyone else take over! Kill the first six guys and the rest just seem to sit there

You CAN sap Epic Walls. You can't use ladders against epic walls because their too high! And the ram WILL continue to move even if you kill 6 guys. If they just stand theyre, try to drop the ram and the pick it upp again!
