My favorite Sinatra is "It was a very good year" , Thats life and witchraft. Hell just about anything he sings is great, Yes Cappo Dean is also great. The best is when they are together with their favorite itallian friend Sammy Davis Jr.
Try this link to sample some Sinatra. I hope it works as mine havent been lately.

Sinatra? My ears think he's always slightly off tune.![]()
I'd certainly go for the 1980s Bruce Dickinson voice. That's a real vocalist.![]()
If you're fighting fair you've made a miscalculation.
Nice choices, I love Sinatra's Very good year and Dean Martin's Little old wine drinker me always gets me singing along.
Don't forget Mr Golden tonsils Nat 'King' Cole and Louis Armstrong's Wonderful World has to be one of the finest songs

Yes, Iraq is peaceful. Go to sleep now. - Adrian II
Since someone already dropped Frankie S' name I'll throw another Italian onto the pile...
Luciano Pavarotti - He really is the greatest male opera singer since the invention of sound recording devices. Simply exceptional.
If you're invoking Frankie, Dean & Nat then don't forget Bing Crosby, baritone crooner extraordinaire.
"Why spoil the beauty of the thing with legality?" - Theodore Roosevelt
Idealism is masturbation, but unlike real masturbation idealism actually makes one blind. - Fragony
Though Adrian did a brilliant job of defending the great man that is Hugo Chavez, I decided to post this anyway.. - JAG (who else?)

This lukewarmness partly stems from fear of their adversaries, who have the law on their side, and partly from the skepticism of men, who do not truly believe in new things unless they have personal experience in them."

How the heck would you pick a best vocalist? Best voalist for what? Crooner? Probably Sinatra, although I'm not familiar enough with the '30s and '40s jazz singers to be certain.
R&B? Probably Ray Charles. You could argue for Stevie Wonder, too. You could also make a compelling case for Marvin Gaye.
Rock? Take your pick from the usual suspects -- Freddie Mercury certainly taking a very queenly place near the top of the heap. Nobody mentioned Jim Morrison, who crossed the line between crooner and rocker pretty well.
Country? Probably Lyle Lovett, although you could make a seriously twisted case for Willie Nelson.
Opera? Everybody's probably going to say Pavarotti. But I'm sure a real opera buff could reel off five more in the same league.
Okay, so put Luciano, Ray, Frank, Marvin and Lyle in a room, give them all chainsaws. Who's the best vocalist? The one who emerges alive?
This is why I have a hard time with things like the Academy Awards. Genius is singular and unique, impossible to compare. Mediocrity is common and easily measured. It follows that terms like "best" are better applied to the average than the brilliant.
I'm pretty sure it was Mozart who said, "Artists are not horses to be run against each other." Having said that, can well all agree that Wolfgang was the "best" classical composer?![]()
umm probably the lead singer of Korn although i think there some editing it sounds great!

There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

My vote goes to Kurt Cobain (RIP Kurt)
Mostly because of the emotion he puts into every song, not down to vocal talent because theres far better vocalists skill wise than Kurt but give me the emtion of kurt over them anyday!
Freddy Mercury has a great voice too, but the only really other voices I can think of are female.
