    Default I have a problem

Either before or after a battle the game causes my computer to reboot, as per instructions from both alienware and activision i reinstalled my videocard drivers, but the problem still persists and is becoming anoying. This is the only program I have the problem with. Anyone have any ideas?

I had a problem last night, Windows updates were ready to install and it wanted to reboot my computer. However, it gave me the option, it didn't do it automatically.

If you find out what programs are causing the reboot, delete them. If it is something like Windows or Office that is doing it, then you can go to a site that tells you how to switch off autoboots and stuff like that. Do a google search.

The computer world is a sick place with all these spyware things about. It is better to disconnect from the internet when playing RTW.

I had a similar problem. Try setting your AGP aperture size to no more than 64mb, you can find this setting in the bios, then try default graphic options.

I don't think this is a good idea unless you have a 64mb card as i had major problems with this as i temporaly used a 64mb card in my machine then went back to a 128mb card. And by problems i mean servere graphics and performance reduction until i corrected the setting to 128mb for the 128mb card.

Well, the thing is, it doesnt autoboot every time i finish/start a battle, just every so often. Here are my system specs:

    Proccessor: Intel Pentium 4 3ghz
    Memory: 1022mb ram
    Sound card: SB Audigy
Video card: Raedon 9600XT 128mb AGP

it's an Area 51 Alienware system and it's basicly right out of the box (I've only had it a month or so), so I shouldnt be having problems with over heating or anything like that.

The aperture is only the amount of system memory allowed to be used for textures and such. Changing it should cause no problems unless in extenuating circumstances.

It certainly won't cause any permanent damage and is the only reason why RTW is now working for me.

P.S This may help for problems with ATi based cards.
