well i didnt get any game on this recent hunt but it was fun and iritating. i was hunting in the woods with my brand new 12 gage hinge action rossi. i saw a 50 foot water fall with cliffs about the same hight on the edges i sat there looking at it for a long time it looked great. then i got the not so bright idea to climb down and follw the river to see if this would be a good fishing spot. i unload my gun ( about the only smart thing i did the whole time) and climb down the rocks are wet and slippery. i think i can make it so i continue. i find a part that isnt a straight drop but still very steep and climb there i fall i am sliding down this thing my gun hits a rock. shortly after i grab hold of a root then climb down the rest. and continue my hunt. unfourntnatley i see my guns barrel has a nasty scratch from that rock i would do it again though that was a great looking water fall

a pheasant with a 5 foot composite bow, it was funny because my mate had a rifle and didn't hit anything.
    thanks,

You know, that bipod of yours is not optimal...
If you want better accuracy, make it so that the bipod attaches to the gun from above the barrel, not below it, so that the gun is hanging on it. That's what I prefer when I hunt.

These guys don't need no bipods though. Dunno if you've seen it, I got this link at irc, and I know just how fast these things circulate internet.. Heck, I've often given people links and few hours later received the same link from another guy

    :edit:
wait, I just remembered a freak story... My dad was at the army range while he was in service, their instructor was just babbling something, with a rifle on his hand, pointing at the ground, holding it with one hand at the waist level. A bird flew just above the range some 150 yards away, he quickly pointed his rifle at it and shot- and hit! with one hand from waist... talking about snapshot.
