Can you create your own historic battle?

Is there some way of making a folder in the battles folder and putting in the necessary data?

I want to create a historic battle based on the Caudine Forks where the Romans got trashed by the Samnite rebels. I want to be the Romans and kick their asses!!!
He was no longer to be addressed as Gaius Octavius Julius but insisted on being called Augustus Caesar and he now styled himself as 'divi filius' - 'son of god'.

You could probably create it and save it as a "custom battle." Pick the appropriate map and proper forces. Of course, you don't get to position both sides that way for the start, and you get no scripting.

Not sure if there is a historical battle editor yet.

The historical battle editor and map editor should come with the 1.2 patch. Thats whats Jerome said some time ago.
