Default Quick modding question from a total novice..

OKay, I've been looking to get some infantry with the Greek_cities faction. Having a look through the desc_unit.txt file I thought the Seleucids seemed the closest in terms of geography and culture, though I admit I'm unsure of the culture thing!

Anyway, if I add greek_cities to the ownership line of a Seleucid unit will that allow me to recruit that unit? or do I have to change the building or some other file?

    I'll worry about textures later!

Thanks for any help anyone can offer, it's much appreciated!
Centurion: 'What's this, then? 'Romanes Eunt Domus'? 'People called Romanes they go the house'?
Brian: 'It-- it says, 'Romans, go home'.'
Centurion: 'No, it doesn't. What's Latin for 'Roman'? Come on!..........

You need to add greek_cities to the unit, then add it in the factions thingy(factions {greek_cities, seleucid}) in export_descr_building.txt.

Read This Guide to adding units by Duke John .

Remember , back up any file before you alter it {make a folder where you can easily find it , desktop is a good place , and make other folders in that so you can file backup copies in a fashion that you won't forget what goes where nor what is origonal and what is a backup of a mod} !
Infact , backup before you even open a file just to make a good habbit

I'm not going to change for the other three .
