    Default Arrrrg Crazy money

I'm playing as Greeks, and all my cities have positive numbers for the money, but yet every end turn I see the end turn report and get that I'm losing money????? What???? Hello dumb computer can you see all my cities with earning good stuff.

Anyway, Is there a way to tell where all my money is going?

The numbers under the cities may be positive numbers but they do not take into account all the money you spend on recruitment, construction, bribing, etc. If you spend more than you are projected to receive next turn you'll incur a net loss rather than a gain.

i.e., I were to have a projected income of 1100 for next turn and build Stables, which cost 1200, in one of my cities in my current turn, I'd actually lose 100 denarii next turn.

A couple other ways that money 'disappeared' on me.

Where M:TW paid for a building when it rose to the top of the queue, R:TW deducts the cost of a building immediately. So, if you fill the cities queue you'll spend a lot of money that will take time to replace.

Also, agents. At one phase of my first game I went crazy building agents, every city had diplomat, spy & assassin. They get expensive after 20 cities. I picked a few assassins and sent them on a spree through my interior cities.

Sorry, I'm not understanding you. What part of upkeep isn't shown?
