    Default Modding The Turn

Hello everyone! Recently, I decided to start a small mod for VI. Nothing as grand as Fury of the Northmen (which I'm really looking forward to), but just some small modifications for myself. I someday hope to attempt a Hammer of the Scots mod for RTW (based on the great boardgame), but for now I'm just learning the basics. A big thanks for all those who helped on the guides here at the org that has made this job a lot easier.
However, the big problem that I have always had with MTW is the fact that one turn=one year. Just a big nitpick on my part, but something that always spoils the fun. Taking five to six years to march an army the length of Britain didn't seem right. I remember reading somewhere, I think it was the 100 year wars thread by Duke John, that when it was going to be released that he was planning having one turn=a season. My question is how can this be done? I would like at least 4 turns to a year, possibly more. I know this would require changing unit and building build times. I would also like to know how to age everyone accordingly. This may be biting off more than I can chew, but I really want to know if this is possible and how to do it. Can anyone help?
I do not fight with salt but with the sword -Uesugi Kenshin after he sent half of his salt supply to his enemy, Takeda Shingen, who's salt caravans were attacked by the Hojo Clan and had no salt for the coming winter
