Help!!!!!
Hi iam here purely for your help, i just bought Rome - Total War today and have just finished installing it, along with Windows Format and Directx 9, however when i go to play it, a pop up says that it can't find Directx 9!?!?! I have downloaded from the official site and reinstalled it, but to no avail, please help me!!!!!!

Welcome Alexino! I always had to reboot after upgrading DirectX.

This is the wrong forum for technical questions. A mod will move this thread to the appropriate forum, but in the meantime:
Go to "Run" and type "dxdiag" and tell us what "DirectX Version" you have? I believe you need DirectX 9.0*c*.
Presuming you're using Internet Explorer, in addition, or if you find you don't have the correct version, go to "Tools", "Windows Update". Windows Update will scan your system and reccommend the appropriate updates, including the latest DirectX version.
BTW, in the future, it'd be more appropriate to type a more descriptive Thread Title, than "Help!!!"....
