please insert correct cdrom, and resatrt aplication *HELP*

ok got this game but only just installed it as i was at familys and got back about 3 hours ago i installed the game all went perfect no hitches.

i think i will see what it looks like before i got o bed and low and behold i get the meassge ''please insert correct cdrom, and restart aplication'' i tried all the cd's and it still dont work i put fresh installs of direct x 9c and media player 9 and still get the same message.

can someone please help as i dont know what is wrong

First, the only disc you'll need after installation is #1. Second, if you have two CD-ROM drives, be sure to put RTW Disc 1 in the Master drive. Another workaround that sometimes works is to eject the disc, then put it back in, wait for autodetect to do its thing, then click PLAY on the pop-up menu.

Even with both of these techniques I sometimes have to double-click the RTW desktop icon a second time before it will actually start the game up.

i am trying a fresh install incase it missed a file (sometimes happens) but if i get it again i will try what you have said.

uninstall and reinstall.
if you have an actual store-bought copy, this should fix things.
