where to put capital? (im scipii)
Hmm stay there where you are and get ready to take out other two Roman Factions and Rome itself. Then transfer Capitol to Rome after you defeat them.
Last step is conquer the rest!
Good luck.

I would make Siwa my capital in this situation cause u will have cultural unrest problems in that area, making Siwa your capital will counter the distance to capital penalty and u will have lesser problems in maintaining public order in that area.U also want your young heirs to be close to the frontline instead of letting them sails for 3 turns to make it to the egyptian holdings.Ofcourse dont leave your homeland in italy without governors for that civil war thats gonna errupt.
I never been that far at the point of civil war but i would install governors in my homelands.

mi making a short campagain and i conquered 11 provinces and i still got the carthaganian remains and some of those blue eyes i forgot their namesOriginally Posted by Vikings
. anyway it will take some more provinces so getting to rome will be quite useless. any other idea? what fisrt, toward spain or souther to nepte? also putting capital in kiwa does'nt help as i have the pyramids that decrease egyptian's cultural differences.

I was in much the same position as you in my last Scipii campaign. I moved the capital to Carthage; don't think it helped at all.
If southern Spain wasn't in revolt then Egypt was. On one turn I lost the pyramid and had 7 revolts to deal with.
edit: btw, I lost the pyramids to a revolthave fun

I'd keep it closer to Carthage, and send your better administrators to Egypt. Egypt will have horrendous cultural penalties, as will Carthage, but Carthage is easier to nationalize and reinforce, with Sicily right there. Depending on whether you expand east or west, I might move it to Siwa or Alexandria later. Don't be afraid to move your capital with the wind. With good generals and strong administrators in the right places, your capital can be on Mars.
